Glass Ionomer Cement

It’s a polymer created by the reaction of Glass powder with polyacrylic. This kind of

cement has the nature of the strength and hardness of Silicate glass powder; the

Fluorine release; Polyacrylic acid liquid biological nature and adhesion. During its

curing, the irritation to dental pulp is little strong than Eugenol Cement and Zinc

Carboxylate Cement, but much lighter the Zinc Phosphate Cement. Our Glass Ionomer

Cement and reinforced GIC can be used as a base, lining or repair of a cavity,

especially the reinforced GIC is developed version, Its compressive strength and wear

resistance have been significantly improved.

Application

Mainly used in bases and lining of cavity.

Main composition

Powder：silicon oxide, calcium fluoride, sodium fluorosilicate, aluminum oxide,

Liquid：polyacrylic acid, tartaric acid, deionized water.

Technique specification

Product net curing time: 1.5 to 6 minutes

The compressive strength ≥50MPa
